Description
The second half of a set of portraits of The Mighty Boosh-- Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, for the uninitiated. (I'm also planning on portraits of Dave Brown, Rich Fulcher, and Mike Fielding, though those probably won't be done in time for the assignment.)
The idea for this set of illustrations was to create two high-contrast pencil portraits in the same style, then digitally add colors/elements that hint at each comedian's individual comic and personal style. This is partly for the benefit of those who aren't familiar with the duo, but is also intended as a wink at the well-versed fan. (Okay, okay, can I stop writing formally now?
)
The pieces are also referential to Noel Fielding's own art style, seen here.
